Study with a game controller
Every game on ZykoStudy works with the controller already sitting next to your TV. Plug it in or pair it over Bluetooth, press a button, and the pad takes over — not just the games, but the whole site.

Step 1
Plug the controller into your computer
Use the cable that came with the pad (USB-C on an Xbox Series or DualSense, micro-USB on an older Xbox One or DualShock 4) and plug the other end into any USB port on your computer.
If you only have USB-C ports, any normal USB-C hub or adapter works. There is nothing to download — the browser talks to the controller directly.
Wired is the most reliable way to start. Once it works you can switch to Bluetooth any time.
The pad drives everything, not just the games
Most study sites stop at keyboard shortcuts. Here the controller is a real input for the whole product.
Never touch the mouse
A glowing focus ring follows your stick or D-pad across links, buttons, and fields on every page. The bottom face button clicks, the right one goes back, and Start steps you out from anywhere — even mid-round.
Any controller you already own
Xbox, PlayStation, Switch Pro, or a generic USB pad. ZykoStudy detects which one you're holding and relabels every on-screen hint to match — A/B/X/Y, ✕/○/□/△, or the Switch layout.
Study from the couch
Send your laptop to the TV over HDMI or cast the tab, then lean back with the pad. Because the controller can navigate the site, you never have to get up to click something.
Pairing over Bluetooth, step by step
Two halves: put the controller into pairing mode, then add it from your computer.
1. Put the pad in pairing mode
Xbox Series X|S / Xbox One
Hold the Xbox button to switch it on, then hold the small Pair button on the top edge for about 3 seconds.
You'll know it worked: The Xbox logo flashes quickly.
PlayStation 5 (DualSense)
With the pad off, hold Create (left of the touchpad) and the PS button together for about 3 seconds.
You'll know it worked: The light bar flashes in a double-blink pattern.
PlayStation 4 (DualShock 4)
With the pad off, hold Share and the PS button together for about 3 seconds.
You'll know it worked: The light bar flashes white in a double-blink pattern.
Nintendo Switch Pro Controller
Press and hold the round Sync button on the top edge, next to the USB-C port.
You'll know it worked: The four player lights run back and forth.
Generic USB / third-party pads
Most work over USB with no setup. Bluetooth models usually have a dedicated pair button — check the manual.
You'll know it worked: Anything that reports as a standard gamepad to the browser will work.
2. Add it on your computer
- Put the controller in pairing mode using the combo for your pad (see below).
- Open Settings → Bluetooth & devices, and make sure Bluetooth is On.
- Click Add device → Bluetooth.
- Pick your controller from the list and wait for it to say Connected.
- Windows 10: Settings → Devices → Bluetooth & other devices → Add Bluetooth or other device.
Paired but nothing on screen? Open any ZykoStudy page and press a face button. Browsers deliberately hide controllers from a page until you press something on them.
What each button does
These work everywhere on the site. Each game shows its own extra controls on screen while you play.

If it isn't working
Nothing happens when I move the stick
Press a face button first. Browsers hide connected controllers from a page until you press a button on them, so a stick nudge alone sometimes isn't enough to wake it. If the page was already open before you plugged in, press a button and it'll appear — no reload needed.
Which browser should I use?
Chrome or Edge give the most consistent results, because they map Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch Pro pads to the same standard layout. Firefox and Safari can read controllers too, but some pads report their buttons in a different order there, so a few controls may be swapped.
The controller works elsewhere but not on ZykoStudy
Controller support has an on/off switch. Open the controller badge in the corner of the screen and check that it's enabled — the same panel has the vibration toggle. Both are on by default.
My controller doesn't vibrate
Rumble uses a browser feature that only Chrome and Edge support today, and only over a connection that carries it — a wired USB connection is the most reliable. Check the vibration toggle in the controller badge too. Everything else still works without it.
The buttons on screen don't match my controller
The labels follow the pad in your hands: Xbox shows A/B/X/Y, PlayStation shows ✕/○/□/△, Switch Pro shows its own layout. If a third-party pad reports an unfamiliar name it falls back to the Xbox labels, but the buttons are always in the same physical position.
Can I use a controller on my phone or tablet?
Yes — pair it the same way you would to a computer, then open ZykoStudy in your mobile browser and press a button. Touch controls keep working, and the on-screen hints switch to whichever one you used last.
Controller FAQ
Which controllers work with ZykoStudy?
Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One controllers, PlayStation 5 DualSense and PlayStation 4 DualShock 4, the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, and most generic USB gamepads. The on-screen button labels change automatically to match whichever one you're holding.
Do I need to install anything?
No. There's no app, no driver, and no extension. Plug the controller in or pair it over Bluetooth, open ZykoStudy in your browser, and press a button.
Can I use a controller for everything, or only in games?
Everything. The controller moves a focus ring across the whole site, so you can browse from the home page into a game and back out again without touching the mouse. The bottom face button clicks, the right face button goes back, and Start always steps you out.
Can I play on a TV?
Yes. Connect your laptop to the TV with an HDMI cable or cast the tab, pair the controller, and study from the couch — the controller can drive the whole site from across the room.
Is a controller required?
Not at all. Every game is fully playable with a keyboard, mouse, or touchscreen, and the on-screen hints follow whatever you used last. A controller is just a nicer way to play.
