1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ZykoStudy, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you are using ZykoStudy on behalf of an educational institution, you represent that you have authority to bind that institution to these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or platform notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

2 Eligibility & Accounts

ZykoStudy is intended for use by students, teachers, and school administrators in educational settings. Student accounts for users under 13 must be created or authorized by a school or parent/guardian in compliance with COPPA.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access at support@zykostudy.com.

3 User Roles

ZykoStudy has four distinct user roles with different permissions:

• Students — Access game modes, complete assignments, track progress, and engage with the AI tutor.
• Teachers — Create classrooms, assign content, view student analytics, and manage rosters.
• School Admins — Manage all teachers and classes within their institution, access institution-level analytics.
• Platform Admins — ZykoStudy staff who manage platform-wide settings and content.

Each role grants access only to the features and data appropriate for that role. Attempting to access functionality beyond your role is prohibited.

4 Platform Use

Subject to these Terms, ZykoStudy grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform for educational purposes. You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the platform
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Access the platform through automated means (bots, scrapers) without written permission
• Use the platform for commercial purposes outside of your authorized school context

5 Prohibited Conduct

Users must not engage in conduct that:

• Cheats, exploits bugs, or manipulates game mechanics or scores
• Harasses, bullies, or threatens other users
• Shares false, misleading, or inappropriate content
• Violates any applicable law or regulation
• Attempts to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Uploads malware or disruptive code
• Impersonates another user, teacher, or ZykoStudy staff

6 Intellectual Property

All content, features, game mechanics, question banks, visual assets, code, and trademarks on ZykoStudy are the intellectual property of ZykoStudy or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

The ZykoStudy name, logo, and brand are trademarks and may not be used without prior written consent.

7 User-Generated Content

Teachers and admins may create content (e.g., custom questions, assignments) through the platform. By submitting content, you grant ZykoStudy a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display that content to provide the service.

You represent that any content you submit does not infringe on third-party rights, violate any law, or contain inappropriate material.

8 Educational Services

ZykoStudy provides gamified learning tools intended to supplement — not replace — formal education. Our AI tutor and question bank are designed to support learning, but we make no guarantee of specific academic outcomes.

9 Payments & Subscriptions

Some features of ZykoStudy may require a paid subscription for schools or teachers. Payment terms, pricing, and refund policies are detailed on the ZykoStudy pricing page.

• All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified or required by law.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to current subscribers.
• Failure to pay may result in suspension of premium features.

10 Disclaimers

ZykoStudy is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure at all times.

11 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZykoStudy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to ZykoStudy in the three months preceding the claim.

12 Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the platform settings. ZykoStudy may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, extended inactivity, or at our discretion with reasonable notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so, including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability.

13 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
